The ‘3×3 Fantasy’ app is the world’s first fantasy app for 3×3 basketball bringing all the fans closer to the game. It’s available for free download on Android and iOS and includes all the latest updates from the world of 3×3 ranging from player selections to making predictions and earning points with a chance to win some exciting prizes. In 2022, the game will focus on the FIBA 3×3 World Tour and 3×3 Challengers, which take place nearly every weekend from May to December. More competitions are expected to be covered in future editions.
“Fantasy sports and gaming culture is booming the world over and we are delighted to make our foray into this exciting digital space. The ‘3×3 Fantasy’ app perfectly complements our many pre-existing offline properties, including our flagship Indian 3×3 Pro Basketball League which successfully completed its third Season this March,” said Mr. Rohit Bakshi, CEO – 3BL.
FIBA 3×3 Managing Director Mr. Alex Sanchez said: “We are constantly working towards expanding the horizon for 3×3 and its fans and with the launch of the ‘3×3 Fantasy’ app we give the fans a chance to continue enjoying the game virtually. We would also like to thank the team from 3BL for making this into a reality.”
Fan engagement on the 3×3 Fantasy App is expected to be driven by the already existing robust and growing network of affiliated yet independently organized FIBA 3×3 events worldwide – which is predicated on player registrations. Additionally, a hugely popular worldwide individual ranking of players on the FIBA 3×3 portal and the FIBA 3×3 World Tour official website, that includes key statistics and profile details, provides all fans the necessary tools to make informed predictions.

About 3×3
3×3 (pronounced “three-ex-three” in English) is considered the number one urban team sport discipline. From the first official event at the 2010 Youth Olympics Games, FIBA has had an ambitious vision for the game. The strategy is designed and executed holistically by a 3×3- dedicated team in FIBA’s headquarter since the inception of the business unit in 2010.
The business operations have been steadily growing year-on-year, including achievements like the inclusion of 3×3 in the Olympic Program as of 2020 and the official competitions being broadcast in over 100 countries.
