The season is scheduled to tip off in Chandigarh from 8<sup>th<\/sup> March with the finals scheduled on 21<sup>st<\/sup> March 2022.<\/p><p>The announcement was made earlier today by Mr. Rohit Bakshi, 3BL Commissioner and Mrs. Prerna Sharma, Director, 3BL. Also in attendance at the press conference in Taj Mahal hotel, were BFI Secretary General Mr. Chander Mukhi Sharma, alongside the top Indian and foreign participating players. Mr. Vikas Bansal and Mr. Rajeev Tiwari, the owners of Gurugram Masters franchise, which is the reigning champion in the men\u2019s league, were present as well. \u3000<\/p><p>\u201cKeeping in mind the stiff competition between all the teams, and our tagline of this being a \u2018Grind Season\u2019, we are proud to announce that the winning team will receive INR 35 lakh, runners up will win INR 25 lakh and the third placed team will be rewarded INR 15 lakh,\u201d Mr Bakshi said. \u201cWe hope this sizeable prize money acts as added motivation, and will be a just reward for the players\u2019 hardwork, team spirit, consistency and durability over the coming two weeks of intense, non-stop action.\u201d<\/p><p>\u201cWe are happy to grant exclusive rights to 3BL\u2019s professional league as an added avenue for our star players to shine,\u201d Mr. Chander Mukhi Sharma said. \u201c3BL will provide additional income and exposure to many Indian basketball athletes.\u201d<\/p><p>\u201cWe strongly believe India will be in 2024 Paris Olympics. By the end of 3BL Season 3, Indian teams\u2019 global FIBA 3&#215;3 federation ranking should be at least 30<sup>th<\/sup>, from the current 70<sup>th<\/sup> (in men) and 55<sup>th<\/sup> (in women). Winners will be announced at the end of each round, and the winner of the final round will be crowned the overall champion.<\/p><p>The detailed fixtures and team rosters are attached separately.<\/p><p>Besides attractive salaries, prize money and FIBA 3&#215;3 ranking points to individual players, the top teams also get the chance to compete at prestigious FIBA 3&#215;3 World Tour events.<\/p><p>\u201c<strong>We Will Defend our Title\u201d<\/strong><\/p><p>Gurugram Masters (men) and Kochi Stars (women) are the defending champions.<\/p><p>\u201cIn 3BL season 3, we will defend our title and aim for FIBA 3&#215;3 World Tour Final 2022,\u201d Mr. Vikas Bansal, Gurugram Masters owner said.<\/p><p>\u201cWe have invested heavily on 3&#215;3 to promote and grow our team this year.
